Common Questions and Answers

What is included in my dogs stay? During your dogs stay they get 2 long outdoor play sessions. These sessions may be with other dogs or solo. This will depend on the dogs temperament during the stay. Your dogs will also get several short play sessions and potty breaks through out the day. During afternoon nap time all dogs get a stuffed kong for mental stimulation. Included is also our house dog food as well as many many treats. Dogs are given a treat each time they go back inside and at bedtime.  Lastly dogs get a late night potty break before going to bed.

9-10 Late Night Potty Break Then Bed with Bed Time Treat

If I bring my dogs food do I get a discount? Our price is set for your dogs care. We offer a house food as a courtesy for you but most bring the food their dog is currently eating to prevent stomach issues.

If I have more than one dog is there a discount? If your dogs can share an enclosure area then we offer a 20% discount for the 2 dog and over. Dogs sharing enclosures must be able to eat together at meal time. Limit 2 Big Dogs per Sleeping area.

What are your hours? We are open by appointment 7 days a week with no PM pick up on Wednesday.  See Next section for appointment information.

What time can I Drop off/Pick Up My Dog? We have two Set Pick Up and Drop Off Times. 8:30- 9:30 am and 4:30 – 5:30 PM. We ask that you text or call to let us know you are coming. We set drop off appointments when booking your dog(s) stay and pickup appointments when you drop your dog(s) off. We ask that you arrive within 10 minutes of the time you set unless you make other arrangements. Pick Up or Drop Off outside these hours will be a fee of $15 per dog, if available. We understand you may have a schedule conflict but we have to limit the time dogs are coming and going. When a dog is arriving or leaving all other dogs have to be put in their enclosures while we wait. Drop offs and Pick ups takes away from the time we have with the dogs already here.
 
Do you charge extra if my dog needs medicines? We do not charge extra for simple medicines such as pills, eye drops etc.  If you pet needs injections or more tedious medicine admistration there will be an extra charge.

My dog eats a RAW Diet. Can I bring that for his stay? Yes! We are knowledge on RAW Feeding and Handling.

My dog is scared of storms/loud noises. Living on site gives us a huge advantage for personalized care. We have cameras in the dog room. If we hear bad weather/loud noises the first thing we do is check the camera. If any dog is in distress, we head straight out to comfort them. If they take medication for storms, we do recommend sending it.

My dog isn’t housebroken. Can they still stay with you? Unfortunately, NO.  We cater to house dogs that are comfortable inside. We prefer dogs that have been crate trained. While the dogs are not in crates, crate training helps make them comfortable when in the dog runs. One accident here and there is “ok” but if your dog continually eliminates inside there will be a cleaning fee per incident. Dogs are not on concrete runs, they are in a cabin with regular floors. It is not set up for dogs eliminating inside.

Are there any breeds you do not accept? Boarding requests are on a dog by dog basis.  If you are unsure if our environment will work for your dog we ask for you to come out for a Meet n Greet. We do cater to Small to Medium size dogs. We DO NOT have space or comfortable accommodations at the moment for Giant Breeds. Dogs may encounter through a fence a variety of animals such as cats, cows, horses and donkeys. If you know your dog is aggressive to these animals our environment may not be best for them.

What are some things that will charge extra? While our prices are set to be all inclusive there are a few add-ons we have available. We have extra special treats and chews you can purchase for your dog to enjoy during their stay or take home. We also offer basic grooming like baths and nail trims.  Other than that everything is included. Basic treats, play time and extra cuddles,bed time treats are all part of our package! We do also offer a daily grooming care package for dogs such as doodles, poodles, retrievers, aussies etc. that need regular coat maintenance brushing. This is an add-on for an extra fee.

How long is my dog inside in their sleeping enclosure? During the day time dogs are not left inside longer than 2 hour periods.  If it isn’t playtime we are outside for quick potty breaks.  We have one last late night potty break and then we go our early in the morning.

Do you board cats? We do not board cats however we do offer in home pet care services. This fits most cats better than boarding.
